NATIONAL CONVENTION INFORMATION
National Convention - Tampa Florida - August 22- 28, 2025.
The room rate is $115.00 + 13.5% + $1.95 per room/night. Self-parking for those driving is complimentary.
Legion Department Headquarters will be taking names and information for those who wish to attend the National Convention. This applies to Legion, Sons, Auxiliary)
Although the Department of Colorado American Legion is suspended members may still attend the national convention as a guest.
The Sons of the American Legion Detachment members must also call Legion Department Headquarter to make hotel arraignments.
The Auxiliary Department Charter is NOT suspended but all reservations for Hotel rooms must come through Legion Department Headquarters.
The Colorado Hotel for National Convention is Barrymore Hotel in Tampa, FL (DO NOT CALL THE HOTEL TO MAKE HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS)
In order to safeguard your information please call department headquarters was we will need a CC # to reserve the room.
We will assume everyone registering for housing will need to register for the convention (Legion, Auxiliary and SAL) Your registration packet will be available at the National onsite registration location on the 2nd floor of the
Tampa Convention Center. At that time is when National will accept the registration fee ($35 per registration). This is cash only, so all attendees need to ensure they have that on hand to receive all registration information.
